In all of this I seek art, because without art the world is grey and life is boring.

Why I Write
Stories are the fundamental form of human communication and what turned us into beings of understanding and empathy. Stories are an emotional, cognitive, aesthetic and ethical concentrate that, once read, embeds itself in the reader.
We are better people because we read.
And the process of writing is very similar to reading, only more intense and deeper. Writing is slow. Sentence after sentence, it stretches like pine resin right into our neatly combed hair. Thoughts formed in such a slow process are deeper and richer than those that land on our minds triggered by everyday stimuli.
Through writing we build ourselves. And by creating content for reading, we build the people around us too.
Writing is, therefore, a noble ego trip.
2022
The Grace of Cypresses
A collection of stories stretching from dark fairy tales to dystopian visions, always saturated with horror and salted with humor. Stories from the book won the Lapis Histriae and SFera awards, and the collection itself received the Stefica Cvek Award for feminist and rebellious writing.
2024
The Day the Screen Went Dark
A picture book about Ernest, a boy who is always staring at screens and must face life without them on the day the power goes out. This picture book about digital hygiene won the two biggest awards for best picture book of the year as chosen by children's juries: Grigor Vitez Little Bird and Sheep in a Box.
